Material handling cables & trailing cables

Application Material handling and trailing cables are used for connecting lift terminal positions to the control unit, surveillance of the joining rods in lifts, as feeder cables for applications involving very high currents in mining, locomotive and rail-carriage construction. These are also used for oil rig platforms and emergency power generators. Trailing cables are also used for vertical drum operations and on moving cable carriers. A few other applications include construction machines, conveyor, transport and crane systems in dry or damp environments, and the outdoors.

These cables are flexible enough to be installed in very small spaces or even in harsh environments and extreme temperatures.

Material handling involves many different facets such as automated guided vehicles, storage and retrieval systems, conveyor systems as well as palletizing and sorting systems.
This function is relevant in industries such as automotive, mining, food and beverage, medical as well as e-commerce, making it a fixture in industrial applications.APAR ensures unceasing flexibility and quality in this context. These cables are used in cable tracks and last for nearly 10 million cycles. Some cables are also used in robots which could twist for 10 million cycles. These cables are flexible enough to be installed in very small spaces or even in harsh environments and extreme temperatures.
